About the Golden Grove/Gelli Aur Mansion Appeal...

A rare opportunity has arisen to purchase and restore Golden Grove Mansion, for use as the first Welsh convalescent home and PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) treatment centre for our servicemen, women and veterans who have been wounded physically and mentally, to enable them to heal and recover from the experience of wars such as Afghanistan.

We need to be able to offer our wounded the freedom of peace and tranquillity, that would help to aid their recovery and feel that this would be the perfect place.

We have only been given a short space of time to raise the funds needed to secure Golden Grove. Please help us by giving what you can or by fundraising in any way..Vsit the site here

Night with the Stars

To raise funds for the Golden Grove Mansion Appeal a group of dedicated people from in and around the Ammanford area are devoting their time by putting on A Night with the Stars tribute event at various venues.

The latest "Night With The Stars" Tribute Event with Elvis, Macy Grey, Christina Aguilera, George Michael, Lilly Allen, Eva Cassidy, Miley Cyrus, Elvis Costello, Gerry Rafferty and last but not least our very own Susan Boyle taking part. The last show, held at Resolven RFC on July 10th 2010 was a great success raising over £1,7000 for the cause.
